Frequently Asked Question
What is the difference between Heaven's Best carpet cleaning and steam cleaning?
Heaven's Best uses a low-moisture cleaning process rather than saturating the carpet with large amounts of water. Steam cleaning, or hot water extraction, is an effective process, but the trouble is using that much water can compromise the carpet's backing, cause stains to wick back up, or lead to mold or mildew when the carpet remains wet for multiple days. The Heaven's Best process uses a cleaning solution and absorbent pads to transfer the dirt and soil out of the carpet fibers. The low moisture level allows the carpet to dry quickly, while still providing a thorough professional cleaning. Heaven's Best also has water extraction available if needed. The best cleaning method depends on the carpet, its condition, and the type of soil being removed. Our goal is to use an appropriate process for your particular carpet rather than treating every carpet exactly the same.
